Getting here
Which North York neighbourhoods we serve
Centerpoint Mall sits at the top of Yonge Street, which makes it one of the easiest points in North York to reach from almost anywhere in the north of the city.
Willowdale
Straight north up Yonge, roughly ten minutes from Willowdale Avenue and Sheppard. Or Line 1 to Finch and one short bus ride.
Newtonbrook
The closest neighbourhood to us. A few minutes north on Yonge, or walkable from parts of Newtonbrook West.
Bayview Village
West on Sheppard then north on Yonge, or Bayview Avenue up to Steeles. Around ten to fifteen minutes.
Bathurst Manor
East along Steeles Avenue West, a straight run of about ten minutes with no highway involved.
Hillcrest Village
West on Steeles or Finch. Roughly ten minutes from Don Mills and Finch.
York Mills & Don Mills
North on Yonge or Leslie, then west along Steeles. Around fifteen to twenty minutes depending on traffic.
Lansing & Yonge-Doris
A single straight drive north on Yonge, or Line 1 north to Finch and up.
Downsview
North on Dufferin or Bathurst, then east along Steeles Avenue West.
Thornhill & Steeles corridor
We sit on the Toronto–York Region boundary, so Thornhill is a few minutes north and York Region Transit stops outside.
We also see patients from Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Markham, Scarborough, Agincourt, Etobicoke and central Toronto. If Markham is closer for you, our Markham clinic on Warden Avenue runs the same assessment and offers the same treatments.
Both are full clinics. Neither is a satellite office, and you can start at one and continue at the other if that turns out to be more convenient.

What we offer in North York
Everything DrHairs offers is available at this location. Which of it applies to you depends entirely on what the assessment finds — and for some patients the answer is that none of it is appropriate yet.
Hair transplant
FUE and FUT surgery for areas where hair no longer grows. Performed by a physician.
PRP therapy
A regenerative treatment prepared from your own blood, for thinning that is still active.
Blood testing & naturopathic care
For shedding that may be driven by thyroid, iron, hormonal or nutritional factors.
Laser therapy
Low-level light therapy supporting follicles that are still producing hair.
TED regeneration
A needle-free scalp treatment delivering topical compounds into the scalp.
Scalp micropigmentation
Pigment creating the appearance of density. Cosmetic — it grows no hair.
Hair transplant surgery starts at $3,990 plus HST, a three-session PRP course is $499 to $599, and a naturopathic hair health consultation is $149. The assessment itself is free.
Who will see you
Regulated professionals, and you can check
Hair loss is a health issue, and in Ontario who is allowed to do what is not interchangeable. It is worth knowing before you book anywhere.
Physician — CPSO registered
Surgical assessment and hair transplant procedures are carried out by a physician registered with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. In Ontario, only a physician may administer the local anaesthetic used during a transplant, and only a physician may prescribe hair loss medication.
Search the CPSO public register →
Naturopathic Doctor — CONO registered
Internal assessment — thyroid, iron, hormones, nutrition — is handled by a naturopathic doctor registered with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario. In Ontario, “naturopath” and “naturopathic doctor” are protected titles only registrants may use.

Not every term used in this field is regulated. “Trichologist”, for example, is not a protected title in Ontario — anyone may use it, and the training behind it varies. That does not make trichology worthless, but it does mean the word alone tells you nothing about qualifications.
Both colleges publish a searchable public register. Look up any clinician before booking — here or anywhere else. It takes a minute, and we would rather you did. Meet the clinical team →
Your first visit
What happens at the free assessment
It takes under an hour, costs nothing, needs no referral, and does not commit you to treatment. You leave knowing what type of hair loss you have and whether anything we offer is worth doing.
-
Book
Call (647) 568-0000 or book online. Parking is free, so allow a few minutes to find the clinic inside the mall on your first visit.
-
Tell us what you have noticed
When it started, how it has changed, which areas concern you, and what you have already tried.
-
Hair and scalp examination
Density, pattern of loss, scalp condition and donor area. Baseline photographs so change can be measured later rather than guessed at.
-
Health review
Medical and family history, medications and supplements, and anything that changed a few months before the shedding started.
-
What we found, and what it means
The likely type and stage, whether anything needs medical attention, and which options fit — including which do not.
-
Written plan and written cost
If treatment is appropriate. If it is not, we explain why and what would need to change. Nobody is asked to decide on the day.
Bring a list of your medications and supplements, and if you have a photograph of your hair from a few years ago, bring that too — it is more useful than most people expect.
Our other clinic
Markham may be closer for you
If you are coming from Markham, Unionville, Milliken, Scarborough or the east side of York Region, our second clinic on Warden Avenue is likely the easier trip.
DrHairs Markham
7080 Warden Avenue, Unit B3, Markham, Ontario L3R 1S2
Warden Avenue just north of Steeles Avenue East, near Pacific Mall and First Markham Place. Minutes from Highway 404 and 407, free on-site parking.

Both clinics run the same assessment, offer the same treatments and share the same clinical team model. Neither is a satellite of the other.
